Prepare for a Healing Session

Preparing to participate in a healing session is very easy.

You can participate one of two ways: 1) fill out the REQUEST HEALING form for yourself or someone else and we can include this person by name and for any particular issue, or; 2) you can do so anonymously and on any Sunday without contacting me. Your intent to receive is what is important for receiving healing.

When you wake up on the morning of the session, clearly state to yourself that you will be participating. You can do this outloud as you brush your teeth or silently to yourself.

During the rest of the day, you can place notes to yourself (and the Universe) around your home that you will be participating. Each time you see one of these notes (sticky notes are great for this), you will be re-affirming your active participation in the healing (and your request to receive healing) over and over again as you move through your day. Let everyone you live with know that you will not be available for an hour starting at 9:00 p.m. PST. If you are on the east coast, the time will be midnight EST, central time will be 11:00 p.m. CST, mountain time, 10:00 p.m.

Drink several glasses of water throughout the day to help flush your body. Eat lightly throughout the day. Try to limit heavy proteins and carbohydrates and instead eat fresh fruits and vegetables and let any meat you eat be very lean. Do not eat a heavy meal within two hours of the healing session.

The healing sessions begin at 9:00 p.m. PST and run for as long as needed by you. Your openness and participation is what opens the doors to healing, so allow that you may receive healing for 30 minutes to an hour after the start of the session. If you fall asleep, that's alright.

At 9:00 p.m. PST, place a glass of water next to where you will be relaxing, turn off your phone, close your door and lock it. You can play some soft background music with no lyrics. Turn off or dim your lights and close the curtains in the room. The lie down and get comfortable.

Once your heart beat and breathing have quieted, restate your desire and openness to receive healing starting at 9:00 p.m. PST. Ask that you receive this healing as strongly as possible for you and that it be for your highest good and the highest good of all of those around you.

Then close your eyes and focus on your breath. With each inbreath, think the word "Love". With every breath out, think the word "Love". You can do this for as long as it feels comfortable. If you wish to just lie quietly, feel free to do so. If you have another word that you want to use as an affirmation, feel free to use it. The word could be "health", or "peace", or "abundance" or "gratitude" or "balance". You can alternate words on every inbreath and outbreath.

You may feel absolutely nothing during this period of time. You might feel bodily sensations of tingling and heat or moving pockets of stinging or aching. These sensations are energy moving through your body release and unblocking pockets of dis-ease. When they happen, continue just to focus on your breathing. You will notice that the sensations may move about your body and then disappear.

You may also see colors and people's faces or other animals with your eyes closed during this time. Make note of anything that appears that seems important to you and write it down when you are finished.

After 30 minutes to an hour, feel free to get up, but do it slowly. Drink the glass of water that you placed next to you earlier, slowly and feel the coolness of it as you drink it. Depending on how you feel at this time, you may wish to just go to bed, or go outside (weather permitting) and watch the sky. Touch a tree or other plant with the focus being that you wish to ground any excess energy that is still coursing through your body. This is called "grounding" and is very important for both those sending and receiving, to do after a session.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to email anyone of the women on my community page for help.

Blessings, peace and light be with you now and always,
